ADSUBIA

Adsubia (l´Atzúbia in Valenciano) is a small village in the province of Alicante, between green orange groves, just 15 minutes from the beautiful sandy beaches of the Costa Blanca and Costa del Azahar. It is an old village of Moorish origin, thus the small streets and picturesque white houses. Adsubia´s neighbouring town is Pego, where you can find everything you might need in terms of supermarkets, shops, garages, help, etc.. Adsubia itself has 2 bars, 1 restaurant, a small village shop, a bakery, a butchery, a chemist and an art gallery.

Apart from all the above, it has a recently renovated and modernised municipal swimming pool with pool bar (open: mid June to mid September), an open air gym, 2 Jeu the Boules courts, and a general sports area, with a newly constructed padel court.

The municipality of Adsubia also holds Forna, a village that is even more picturesque (but a lot smaller….). Forna houses a real Spanish restaurant, on the church square, next to the fountain, an ideal place to spend a summer afternoon having some lunch and drinks.

Adsubia can also be called the gate to the Vall de Gallinera, a valley of exquisite beauty, famous for their cherries. Centainly worth a visit!
